Beyond research, I enjoy spending time on interests that keep me curious, active, and balanced.

Gaming

I enjoy games in the following genres:

• Survival, building, and management games, especially games developed by Klei, such as Don’t Starve, Don’t Starve Together, and Oxygen Not Included. I also enjoy management games such as Two Point Campus.
• Roguelike games, such as Dead Cells, Inscryption, Darkest Dungeon, and Slay the Spire.
• MOBA games—mainly League of Legends.

I would also love to play Palworld, Raft, Minecraft, and Hogwarts Legacy, but unfortunately, many 3D games give me motion sickness.

Sports

I enjoy both watching and playing baseball. I prefer the style of Japanese baseball, although I used to watch MLB more often.

I also enjoy swimming and running as part of my regular exercise routine.

Music

I usually follow particular singers rather than particular genres. My favorite singers include Joker Xue and Silence Wang. So far, I have been to two Joker Xue concerts and one Silence Wang concert.

I also enjoy playing music. I used to play the euphonium in my school wind band. We performed at events such as flag-raising ceremonies, opening ceremonies, and sports meets, playing pieces including the Chinese national anthem, the March of Unity and Friendship, and the Athletes’ March.

I am currently learning to play the piano.

Movies

I enjoy mystery and thriller films, especially those with science-fiction elements. Some of my favorites are The Matrix, The Thirteenth Floor, Predestination, Gattaca, Tenet, and Interstellar.

I also like mystery films that focus more on puzzles and deduction, such as Memento, Knives Out, and Coherence.
